Just in time for Easter ~ Egg Cosy

Love these egg cosies. This would be darling for Easter Morning. I have this pattern, always meant to knit it last year....maybe I'll knit it this year?

The cosies are designed by one of my favourite artists, Suzie Johnson. Here is her site . I just love her innocent style.

Ohh ahhh

I had a lovely day yeaterday at the flea market with my two daughters, now both teenagers. My eldest, now 17, observed how many teens there were at the flea market. I suppose that those kids have all grown up being shlept along to the flea market over the years and now they are teens seem to enjoy it too? My daughter loves to search out the vintage jewlery as inspiration for her own jewlery making. Another artist in the family :-)

I was and am so happy to find this fabric, above. I made a bee line for it as soon as I saw it. It is a neglected 1970's classic vintage floral, just a one of a kind. They don't make stuff like this any more only copies. I can't wait to make it into a knitting bag or two, a pillow maybe.......Its so beautiful and vivid in reality. We just loved it.
