Well, I couldn't decide which knitting basket to purchase, as they were all so cool. So I thought I would buy a couple? Then I realized that a) I don't have any extra storage space left for the bag I wouldn't be using and b) *how* was I thinking I could pay for them anyway. So I just lusted over the store website for a while and then....I visited some knitting blogs (as you do) and then I saw the little child's sock ..(scroll down to July 19th)....on "zeenedle" typepad. That's it. That's the one, I have to knit. So I went on a hunt through my stash for that Cherry Tree Hill Yarn. I purchased in April dug out my copy of
"Knitting Vintage Socks" Book by Nancy Bush and then yes...you guessed it I actually cast on for the socks. Oh my Gosh. This was what I was missing, this feeling. You know, what I mean don't you? Those delicate little stitches that feeling of knitting with speed and still have gorgeouse little stitches. I realized how I love slender needles. Ah so soothing! This was what I had been missing. The Rebecca sweater as gorgeous as it is, is mindless knitting. I was missing that delicate touch of miniture stitches and a fine guage. More on the Rebecca Sweater next.....
