This was so fun to knit. I enjoyed changing colors and knitting something that come together quickly. (I think I really need to do a fair isle project next). There were so many little pieces I was scared I would loose them all. I think I would knit this larger or with some extra stitches for sewing the seams and possibly smaller needles or better still DK yarn instead of 4ply. Also I would like to embroider the rosebuds on after wards, so that the knitting doesn't get so stretched out with my "patchy" fair isle knitting and dodgy sewing. I think Debbie Bliss has some better Toy Knits with shaping. This didn't have any shaping. The shape was created when you sew him together, with darts and curved seams. As you can see Teddy is s t r e a t c h e d just a little too much? Still cute though, I'm rather fond of him.
